06/11/2009 continued... Abu Dhabi

The airport was nowhere near as bad as we had been led to believe. We had been told to expect nothing and what we found was brand new, gleaming, open 24hours and containing a wealth of seating options.

After bagging a lounge seat and with a bit of wriggling we both managed to settle down a pinch 5 or 6 hours of relatively uninterrupted sleep.

We awoke around 7am and after gathering our belongings had an "english" breakfast (no idea what the sausages contained but it wasn't meat of any description). After breakfast we spent a few hours reading and relaxing (and also noticing for the first time the distinct lack of white people) before discovering the free internet and taking full advantage of this luxury, as the hours amazingly passed relatively quickly.

Only a fews hours to go now and we'll be boarding the plane for Delhi, we'll speak to you all again when we get there!!!
